So I am finally getting around to starting my first-ever travel blog: GEOGRAPHIC WONDERPOINTS! It's been nearly a year since I left the full-time practice of law with a large law firm in favor of semi-reitrement combining the part-time practice of law from home with my incurable "condition" as a travel junkie! I realized after sharing photos from some of my favorite destinations this past year with some of you that it would be a whole lot easier just to start my own little travel website and business. But, alas, I did not get the tech-savvy gene, hence the ridiculous delay in getting this site off the ground, but enter Wix to the rescue and here we are! I hope you enjoy all the photos in my blog posts and portfolio pages. My travel this past year has focused on eastern Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Perhaps my greatest realization has been that India is like 100 countries rolled into one, with its 1.4 billion people (surpassing China as the most populous country earlier this year) and incredible diversity of languages, people groups, cultures, etc. It's become clear to me that it will take many trips there to begin to even scratch the surface of what this amazing subcontinent has to offer. Check out these photos from the Red Fort and India Gate in Delhi, the Taj Mahal in Agra. the airport and excellent Acre restaurant in Bengaluru, and Hindu and Christian religious sites and fun on the beach in Chennai.
Please give me your feedback and suggestions as I am a newbie at this and be sure to tell me all about your adventures too!
